Happisburgh Beach

Destruction by Nature

My favourite beach to photograph has to be Happisburgh Beach. Due to the constant wave action the location is constantly changing and eroding. The damage being done to the area by nature is staggering, With winter coming the cliffs will face a further attack from the sea.

Below is what remains of a pill box that once stood on top the cliff. Now deposited on the beach. A graphic image clearly showing the destruction and power of the sea. Made more graphic when you consider how far away the edge of the cliff is today.
